I totally agree with you. We’re night and day, but what would one be without the other? And I think we both have a solid respect for each other that grows all the time because of the different ways we think and different things we do. I hope we can always continue learning from each other about how to live life to the fullest.
This probably goes without saying, but I think the difference between being an only child and having just one sibling is massive. And in having one, I have a proper role model (sorry, but you’ve earned the title), a very entertaining sister in general (with a lovely family to boot), and perhaps most importantly, a great ally in this world. With the kind of torture that siblings dish out in their youth, those that can survive it with a grin have succeeded in creating a friendship of utmost respect and quality, which we have. I’m pretty proud, however, that we spent most of our youths basically on each other’s side and enjoying the family adventure together. Good on us both, and I’m endlessly thankful for having you as my big sis.
